What you
get.

Included in the engagement

  • A design system: colors, typography, spacing, reusable components
  • Screen design for the views that matter most, down to the interaction detail
  • Front-end development, measured and held at sixty frames per second
  • Animations that stay smooth, including on a screen loaded with data
  • Adaptation to every screen size, from phone to large monitor
  • Accessibility checks on the most used flows
  • Documentation of the design system, so your team can pick it up
  • The code, which is yours from day one

Not included

  • Writing your content and marketing copy
  • Brand design work, logo and visual identity
  • The backend, hosting and database if your product already has one
  • Connections to your internal tools if access is not ready
  • Ongoing support and later changes once the project is handed over

How it
works.

  1. 012 days

    We set the visual foundations

Two days to fix the colors, typography, spacing and the first components. Every screen that follows builds on this, nothing gets redrawn each time.

  2. 02Week 1

    The screens that matter most

The most used flows are designed and built first, down to the interaction detail. You see them running before the week is over.

  3. 03Weeks 2 to 4

    The rest, then the measurements

The other screens follow, each one measured at sixty frames per second before being signed off. A thirty-minute call decides what comes next each week.

  4. 04Week 5

    You get everything

The code, the documented design system, a video that explains how it all works, then a session with whoever takes over.

The questions
I always get.

How much does an interface overhaul cost?

From 2,000 EUR for a design system built on your most used screens. The firm price lands at the end of the two-day foundation phase, then it does not move.

  • The price is set before development starts, never revised along the way.
  • A larger interface is priced separately, on the same basis.
  • The two foundation days are billed even if you stop there.
What does sixty frames per second actually mean?

It is the rate a screen needs to refresh at for an animation to look smooth to the eye. Below that, the eye picks up stutter, even a slight one.

  • Every animation is measured before being signed off, not just eyeballed.
  • The measurement runs on a common device, not the most powerful one on the market.
  • A screen loaded with data is held at this speed too, not just an empty one.
What is included, what is not?

The full detail is above on this page. In short, everything that gets the interface live is included, what belongs to your brand or your backend is not.

  • Included: the design system, screen design, development, speed measurements, handover.
  • Not included: your copy, your visual identity, the backend if you already have one.
  • Not included: connections to your internal tools if access is not ready.
Does the design system work with our existing code?

In the vast majority of cases, yes. Components are written to fit into an existing React codebase rather than replace it.

  • A quick audit at the start of the project confirms compatibility before any commitment.
  • If a rewrite turns out to be needed, it is priced separately and flagged before starting.
  • The design system stays documented so your team can maintain it on its own.
Who takes over the code after you leave?

Your team, another contractor, or me if you want to continue. I write for whoever comes next, not for myself.

  • The code is yours from day one, not at delivery.
  • Design system documentation, a walkthrough video and a handover session.
  • Keeping me on afterward is never a requirement.
Do you work remotely?

Yes, from Paris, for clients across Europe. I work in French, English and Italian. Weekly calls adapt to your timezone.

Thirty minutes to know
what is slowing it down.

Show me your current screens. I will tell you where the interface slows down, what a design system would change, then what it costs. If it is not needed, you hear that too.
